Poetry analysis of "no handlebars" by flobots. (google it)

Your analysis should be four paragraphs:

Para 1: introduction in which you discussion the vision and included your thesis statement.

Para 2: The line or auditory or simple poetic qualities. The prosody of the poem.

Para 3: The meaning or thoughts or complex qualities of the poem.

Para 4: your conclusion.

Also, don't forget your slam poems are due next class. Be prepared to perform!

Look up the following poets/people. Write two to three sentence about each one. You can use google or wikipedia to find out information about each one.

Create a chart and type up your information.

Hello Everyone,

I hope you are enjoying your weekends.

Here is the Blog Topic from March 19th's class:

 

Select two topics from your Quotation Organization Sheets. Turn the topics into theme statements (a sentence that you can form an argument around). Using quotations from your sheets, discuss your theme statement and use the quotations to prove that your statement is true. For example: Love vs. Lust = Romeo lusted after Juliet he did not love her. You would then tell me how that statement is true using quotations you have collected over the course of the semester.
